OINP (Ontario Immigration Nominee Program) yet again removes the CRS Cap. Ontario issued 818 Invitations to Express Entry Candidates on February 24, 2022. This is the second OINP draw with No CRS Cap. OINP Skilled Trade Candidates with 359 CRS ranking in Express Entry System got the invitations. OINP invited those Candidates who had applied Between February 24, 2021, & February 24, 2022. Immigration Minister Sean Frazer hasn’t declared any timeline for Canadian Experience Class & Federal Skilled Worker Program Draws but he ensure that Draws will resume in near future. IRCC is expecting 83,500 Immigrants through Express Entry Affiliate and Base PNP Category. No job offer is required to apply for OINP Skilled Trade Stream. However, the Candidate must have 1-year work Experience in the Province Skilled Trade list. Also, the Candidate must be present in Ontario with a valid work permit.

Quebec has issued 523 Invitations to skilled workers to apply for permanent residency. These invitations were issued to immigration Candidates who are falling under Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program. Candidates who have submitted the EOI in the Arrima portal with a minimum score of 592 and occupation should be on the demand list. Does your NOC fall under this Stream? In 2021, Quebec had issued 3564 Invitations for Permanent Residency through Arrima Portal. Invited Candidates have 60 days to submit the complete application. Quebec aiming to process the PR applications within 6 months, once the applicant submit the required documents. Quebec is expecting more than 70,000 newcomers could be admitted in 2022.

British Columbia PNP has invited 160 Immigration Applicants on February 22. Invitations were issued from Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level, and Semi-Skilled. 145 Invitations were sent through a General Draw. The minimum score requirement is between 77 to 125. Candidates whose Occupation falls under NOC 0621 ( Retail & Wholesale Trade Managers) or NOC 0631 (Restaurant and Food Service Managers). A total of 15 Invitations were issued with a minimum score of 125.

OINP has issued 773 Invites to the Express Entry Candidates with CRS ranking between 455-600 CRS Points on February 22, 2022. Ontario has removed the minimum CRS benchmark in this Draw. OINP has invited the applicants who are eligible for the Express Entry Human Capital Stream. Candidates need to have their profile in the Express Entry System with CRS 455 to 600. Candidates must have 1 year of Work Experience in the Following targeted Occupation List: NOC 0114 – Other administrative services managers NOC 0122 – Banking, credit, and other investment managers NOC 0124 – Advertising, marketing, and public relations managers NOC 0125 – Other business services managers NOC 0211 – Engineering managers NOC 0311 – Managers in health care NOC 0601 – Corporate sales managers NOC 0631 – Restaurant and food service managers NOC 0711 – Construction managers NOC 0731 – Managers in transportation NOC 0911 – Manufacturing managers NOC 1121 – Human resources professionals NOC 1122 – Professional occupations in business management consulting NOC 2161 – Mathematicians, statisticians, and actuaries NOC 3012 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses NOC 3211 – Medical laboratory technologists NOC 3231 – Opticians NOC 3233 – Licensed practical nurses Invited candidates have 45 days to submit their applications.

DAMA (Designated Area Migration Agreement) is a formal Agreement Between the Ministry of Home Affairs Australia & the South Australia Government, Department for Innovation & Skills. South Australian Government has entered into two DAMAs: (1) Adelaide technology & Innovation Agreement (2) South Australia Regional Workforce Agreement DAMAs allow South Australian Employers to Sponsor skilled Overseas workers for the positions they are unable to fill with local workers. Employers experiencing skills and labour shortages can apply for endorsement to enter into a DAMA labour agreement. An eligible occupation list is also available.

Canadian Immigration Minister Seas Frazer commits to speed up the work permit application processing. Accelerating the work permit application is the among top priorities on IRCC’s budget of $85 million this year. Earlier, IRCC had announced that the service standard of a Study permit, work permit, proof of citizenship, and PR card renewal would return to normal by end of 2022. IRCC will use the $85 million budget to reduce the Applications processing time. In 2021, IRCC issued 4,20,000 under the IMP(International Mobility program) & Temporary Foreign Worker Program. However, in 2019 IRCC issued 4,05,000 Work Permits. According to November, Statics Canada has 9,00,000 job openings. LMIA is required to hire some foreign nationals.

Canada invited 1,082 Express Entry candidates to apply for Canadian immigration on February 16. The Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) cut-off was 710 for this Draw. 600 points are allotted by PNP(State) wherein the lowest CRS points stand 110. Candidates are given 60 days to complete their Applications. Express Entry was Started in 2015 to attract Professional skilled workers to stay & work in Canada. Applicants can apply under the Express Entry program based on the eligibility factors. If you are qualifying with a minimum of 67 Points you are eligible to apply for Express Entry Program. However, to get a nomination you must have a Good CRS(Comprehensive Ranking System) score, or Your occupation should be on the demand list.  

Canada has announced New Immigration Level Plan 2022-2024. The increased Target for the year 2022 is 4,32,000 immigrants. For the year 2023, Canada will target 447,005 Immigrants For the Year 2024, the target of new Immigrants will be 4,51,000. IRCC will consider 56% of the New Immigrants from Economic class (Express Entry), Provincial Nominee, and TRV to PR stream. IRCC will invite 83,500 Immigrants through the provincial Nominee Program. The family class will comprise 24 percent of admissions targets in 2022, with 80,000 set to arrive under the Spouses, Partners, and Children Program, and 25,000 set to arrive under the Parents and Grandparents Program (PGP).
